   People claim that health insurance, and health care is a business. It shouldn’t be. That is the highest form of praying on peoples needs.

Doctor: “Oh you need a new heart at 9, it’s gonna cost ya.”

Patient: “We can’t afford much, we don’t have insurance.”

Doctor: “Well then… get the fuck out!”

   It shouldn’t be that way. Doctors are suppose to help the needy, not only help those who have the money, or the insurance.

   Universal health care has been successful in every country it’s been implemented, which is every country beside us and Africa.

   Why are people so against this bill? Yes we have higher taxes. But that means no money taken out of pay checks, no need to pay for insurance, no need to worry about whether or not to get treated because of cost, no need to worry about bills.

   That all sounds pretty good to me.

   Especially because this economy.

   Times have been changing. Things have been evolving. That includes diseases. Nowadays cancer is common, and treatments are expensive. Fundraisers, and loans are needed just to pay for the basics of fighting cancer.

   With this health care reform you wouldn’t be paying.

   Understandably waiting lists for treatments will be longer. But someone who is in dire need won’t be placed at the bottom. And if you can’t deal with being placed at the bottom because you actually aren’t in great need, you’re just selfish.

   Sadly, the US is full of selfish people, and that is why it is a miracle this bill has even passed. But it needs to stay, so you 14 states who say they don’t want it. Get the fuck over yourselves, deal with the taxes, and realize you’ll be better off with this bills, than struggling further on in the future with your shitty health insurance.
